A geotechnical report is only as good as its implementation. Construction inspection ensures that the conditions assumed in design actually match what's encountered in the field — and that the contractor's work meets the specified standards.

What We Inspect

• Foundations: Verifying bearing conditions match design assumptions before concrete is placed
• Compaction: Nuclear density gauge or other testing to confirm fill meets specifications
• Piles: Monitoring installation, reviewing driving records, confirming capacity
• Subgrade: Confirming adequate preparation before slab-on-grade or pavement placement
• Earthworks: Verifying cut/fill operations meet design grades and material specifications

Why It Matters

Catching a problem during construction costs a fraction of fixing it after the building is occupied. A foundation poured on unsuitable material, fill compacted to the wrong density, or piles that don't reach design capacity — these are the issues that become expensive warranty claims and litigation. Proper inspection prevents them.
